Can anyone point me to where to get a 20MOA rail for this? I bought an inexpensive EGW 20 MOA savage rail but it is too long and can't be mounted as it's blocked by the handguard on this model. Any recommendations on where to get a short 20 MOA rail ?

I believe nightforce, badger and warne all make bases for savage. Not sure if any of them do not extend past the action.
Also dosnt the Stealth models come with oversized base screws? It may be something to look in to.
I have also cut off the overhanging part of the base with a hacksaw then cleaned it up with a file. You could never tell the difference after being coated. Just another option.

Ugh, I hadn't heard/read anything about oversize base screws. I ordered a NightForce base this morning after finding pics that seem to show it as only action length without an overhang. Hopefully that works out.
