I just got in my scope base and it is a 20 MOA base but I have never had a base like this before can anyone tell me does the thick end of the base go to the back or the front thank you

Stupid question as I am a newb and am looking to add a 20 MOA base to my 700P; does it just bolt on somehow?

Remxcr2009 , make sure you use a little Locktite on the screws, some use a little clear fingernail polish. I like the locltite.
