Wow that looks like a great time. Please let us know about it next year as this may be a match I schedule right now. Love the course of fire.
Why are there strings going to each target? for reset?
Looks like no gear restrictions...so the biggest thing to fight is the wind?
Awesome write up and thanks again.

You're welcome!
All our matches take place the 3rd Saturday, winter months at Ben Avery (in case someone gets the urge). The State match is always the same time too, 3rd Saturday and following Sunday of September so the 15th and 16th in 2018. Lord willing...
Strings -Yes, for resetting targets, we engage each target twice so it's a good thing if we need to reset a target. The newer Rhino targets fall flat when hit which gives you that, "oh yeah I got you sucker" feeling.
Our new freestyle division has no rules as of now so I like it because I can use the same accessories as with the centerfire precision rifles. Vectronix PLRF05 (bet most don't realize it'll range close/8Y) I was using my RRS VYCE on the 055 Manfrotto because I was losing a point here and there shooting prone off the bipod by clipping a blade of grass on occasion. LOL, yes a small obstruction like this will deflect a pellet! Cost me big in a few matches! Plus it's nice not having to get my old self off the ground all the time.
Please come join us DTROS, and that goes for anyone. It's very common for the experienced shooters in our club to have someone who hasn't shot in the sport before shoot with them by using their rifle and other gear. Last year 3 guys from Phoenix(could be 4, see below) that compete in centerfire precision matches joined our club and bought 20 ftlb PCP air rifles they liked the sport so much.
We'll see if we get a response, uh Tom, get your wife's boot out of your ass and come up next month, lol. Jk but we sure would like you around!
