We have started class 2 of 3 here in AK and I have to say, we have Jim here from the Hide taking pictures and looking at the over 500 images he took I cannot remember being as hands-on as we are. I know we have always done it, but with someone taking pictures and seeing it, I cannot recall seeing it anywhere.
No other class is this detailed

And we shoot in every class in front of every student, both of us
The end of the 2nd day when we were all doped and ahead of our final eval, it was a shooting gallery with the whole line targeting steel from 300 out through 1k of various sizes, shapes, and movement.
The berm at 1k (pic below) had clay pigeons scattered across it, several of us were targeting these and it was my highlight to take these shots see my trace, see my impact adjust using the ruler in my face, send the next round. Making impact on a clay pigeon at 1k with 3-4 shots amazed me. One instance me and another shooter were targeting the same pigeon, and I was able to see my trace on my first shot and saw it miss at 11 o'clock, and saw his impact at 3. Shared the info with the other shooter and he nailed it next shot. That was fun!View attachment 7082135
They were not placed by us, they were there from the locals. We couldn't do that math {or at least I couldn't!} but did bitch they were laying back at an angle! How many of you guys realized the way you scattered the clays (or at least how they are now pictured) , you turned a 10.8cm/4.25" or 1.18mil/4.06MOA DIA object it to 1/2 or 3/4 of it's original vertical value???????
Maybe even the F-class guys would be proud of your new 2MOA target..
