Another Rock legend is gone from us. Eddie lost his battle with throat cancer at 65. Rest easy good sir.

I had an awesome stereo when I was in Germany. (81-83) It had a timer I could program to make it turn off at night, and/or come on in the morning. Also, I could set the tape deck to activate when it came back on. I would set it to play Van Halen Eruption. I'd have all 4 of the big Pioneer HPM 110 speakers on, and the volume set pretty loud. The tape would be set at that little break in the middle of the song just before he picks it back up real hard... Yeah... woke up the whole barracks... Did that a few times. normally right before we'd head out to the field, because Top would take the stereo and put it in the arms room for a week when I'd pull something like that... lol.
Thanks for the memories Eddie...
