What a weekend. It was wet, cold, windy, and cold. Did I mention it was cold! Despite the weather and several dropouts due to the weather the weekend was a HUGE success. Congratulations to Stephen Mutchler for the win. He killed the COF. We did several new events this year, even an injury tripod stage that people seemed to really like. That was sponsored by Two Vets Tripods. If you are in the market for a Tripod we really suggest you taking a look at what they have to offer. This was an outlaw match and we were happy to see so many new shooters. Maybe some of the competitors will chime in on the competition to give you all a little feedback.
We really want to Thank all the competitors for a safe and fun match. You guys/gals powered through the awful weather and still came out smiling. Thanks to all of our range officers. This competition would not be what it is without you all. From the Rifles Only staff, THANK YOU. Last but certainly not least, we had an incredible sponsorship showing this year. Every single sponsor will get recognized but there are a few we really want to showcase because they stepped up big time:
Mile High Shooting Accessories donated 2 Accuracy International Rifles, NightForce put scopes on those rifles as well.
Neessen Outdoors donated a zero turn mower.
Austin Moto Adventures donated a motorcycle class with the motorcycle, lodging, and food all included.
Black Rifle Coffee Company donated cases and cases of coffee and their amazing new energy drinks
B&T Industries and Collision Country Repair Center made sure everyone was feed and feed very well. B&T Industries also sponsored a stage for a brand new bipod.
Hornady not only donated several thousands of dollars in prizes but also sent their amazing Hit Target Indicator lights which are pretty dang good and perfect for anyone on a budget.
We also donated $3000 in prize money to the winner.
The list goes on! Here is a list of all of our great sponsors and we highly recommend you look at these guys when you need to purchase more gear.
