Where are you guys running these? They don't shoot as well as the smk's in my rifle and I'm hoping it's a OAL issue.

I read MM is seating them .01 off the lands, is that what most are doing?

Re: 208 amax jump or jam?

My 208 AMAX likes to jump just a "little bit". I am loading it to mag length 3.600" (300 WM), the chamber legnth is well above 3.700". My AIAW 308 shooting the 208 AMAX is loaded at 2.940" and the chamber length is 3.024". They all shoot well. Go figure.

Re: 208 amax jump or jam?

I'm running a 30-06 so mag length is not an issue for me. I don't have a oal gauge so I might be able to find out what kissing is for a 208 in my gun when I visit Randy this weekend.

I think the consistency of manufacturing ammo, especially Hornady is quite good, so the variation is very slightly, if any.

I shoot .02" off. That generated the best accuracy for me there..so far
