Bought my TC Endeavor muzzleloader in 2008 and just used up the original box of primers. Purchased Winchester triple seven 209 primers.

When I insert a Winchester triple 7 209 primers in my TC Endeavor I cannot get the breach to close without some deliberate force. When closed, sometimes I am unable to cock the hammer. Usually repeated opening and closing of the breach will allow the hammer to cock.

People at TC Arms said they were aware of this problem and said Federal or Remington primers will work fine.

I'm having a fire sale on Winchester primers.

    Good luck

The other primers work about the same I have CCI and winchester. Mine works the same as your open close open close and around the third or fourth time you can cock the hammer. One thing also make sure you crank on your speed breach, this helps me some. And there customer service sucks now that they are with smith and wesson. They honestly told me to borrow on to make sure that it was a defective one. hello all of them are defective. If the damn thing did not shoot so well i would make it a tomatoe stake.
