nope its not the shotgun mic, its the sony ECM-HST1 High Fidelity Stereo Microphone, works great but eats the batteries a bit faster.

i'm just trying to give an idea to those who never have used one, or heard one for that matter... and the reason for having the camera 50yds or further is because most of the time, thats how far a dog or dogs are from the business end of my rifle, it is to portray what the sound does further away using a suppressor, and what possible effect it has on a call/shot shy dog that may be a distance off, and as you can see, the further away, the better off the distortion of the muzzle blast which may have an advantage on a skiddish dog.
