22 LR Anschutz price question

Found a used Anschutz 54 MS .22 for sale. Factory original condition, a few dings, seller states the bore has been scoped and is great condition. 4 oz. trigger. Trusted seller, he's asking $889. Reasonable price?

Yes. That's a fair price.

Make sure it is everything you want. It is not cheap or easy to change or modify them. Good luck, I hope it's a shooter!

I've been researching the many different methods of developing a long range .22. Had settled on the 455/X-Ray 180, conversion, lots of after market options offered for improvements. Then this Annie popped up, so now I'm thinking once and done. All that would be needed is a pic rail for the scope (in hand) and a rail for a bipod.

Just know that it is single shot and not a repeater. The repeater is a 54 MSR. Those cost a pretty penny and not many were made.

I picked up a 64 MPR, the action is not as nice but the features are there. The aftermarket for Anschutz is growing, but still limited compared to others.
