I’m putting together a trainer on a CZ 455. Krieger 16” twist blank custom fitted to action.
I suspect I’m asking for the Goldilocks middle ground.
The V22 factory chambered guns have a tight enough match chamber that it has hard bolt closure with some ammo and will not eject some live rounds. Although this positively contributes to the accuracy, it is perhaps slightly tighter than I have in mind.
At the same time, I want to use a reamer that isn’t too loose in spec to negate using a nice barrel blank.
Is the Bentz chamber a good middle ground, or is it too loose?
What chamber would you recommend?
