Re: 22 lr tactical range set up.
I have a similar setup. Drop and wind with cci standard velocity at 250yds is about equal to my 175 smk load at 1000. You need to chrono the .22 to get a good idea of what it's doing, but with that info, JBM ballistics calcs are really pretty good. Target sizes are up to you but I try to use the same subtensions. So a full IPSC is ~.65 mil at 1000yds, so doing the math that would be roughly a 6" tall target. Range=(size in yards)/mils So... remembering algebra we can get size=range*mils or mils=range/size.
Just remember to move the decimal point (or multiply the size by 1K). Or if you're clever you can divide (in this case) everything by 4... 250/1000, or by 3 (225/675 yds) I love math!
I also use the same scope on both, and I'm building (lazy) a stock for my .22 that feels like my .308. It's good wind reading practice, but there's a lot that happens in the real world in that last 750yds that makes it cheep practice, not a replacement.
One last thought. Standard velocity or subsonics seem to do better for me than the fast stuff. I think it's that transonic for a .22 is NOT good.

+1 on above comments regarding recoil, and other fundamentals. I think that there are more benefits than the above post, but.... YMMV.
