I just found this site a few days ago. Upon doing some reading I quickly realized that a lot of you guys share my passion for the .22 LR Rimfire Cartridge and the Guns that fire it.
When it comes to the .22 LR Cartridge and the Guns that fire it I am like a kid that never grew up. Way back when more years ago than I care to admit to the first paying job I ever had was shooting a .22 LR Rimfire Rifle ridding pastures of Gophers for area farmers. The farmers provided me with .22 LR Ammo and I would then collect the tails of Flickertail Gophers and turn them in to the Townships and received payment for my efforts. Granted the pay wasn't much but it kept me shooting.
In 1990 a good friend of mine and I decided that in small town USA there wasn't a lot to do for entertainment in the long cold winters so we formed a club, purchased a building and transformed it into an Indoor Shooting Range for .22 LR Rifles and Handguns. I am very pleased to say that that Indoor Shooting Range is still in operation today.
I have printed off the Rules and some Targets for your 100 Yard Rimfire Matches as well as the 50 Yard Tactical Rimfire Match. I look forward to trying my hand at these matches once I get all the parts and pieces to finish putting together my newest 10/22.
This looks like a great site.
