What's you're price range? Preferred magnification? Focal plane location?Looking for opinions for a all around scope for a tx1 that’s mainly a hunting rifle.Looking at the
Trijicon AccuPoint and Credo 2.5-12.5x42
Good options, but sadly, you won't find much in that price range that's NOT made in China...6-700
2-4 low and 14-18 high
FFP preferably but im open.
No China preferably
That scope is literally double his price range...Take a look at the new "Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15X42". I am adding these on to several of my rifles...has great reviews from everything I have read and from people I have talked to that actually have this scope.
Yup, missed that part, but still a good scope if he can stretch his budget. Thanks for the clarification. That scope is literally double his price range...
The SWFA is pretty lightweight, honestly...And they're pretty good scopes. Made in Japan with Japanese glass with decent turrets and good tracking. They're pretty solid scopes, I've been shooting them for over 10 years, and still got 3 of them. Only downsides is they're only a 42mm objective and no built-in zero-stop.The credo 2.5-14x42 is alittle more money but its sfp.Parallax does adjust down on it.
swfa 3-15 looks ok but is heavy.
These 3 leupolds maybe but its sfp as well.
I agree it will be hard to find everything im wanting.
I finally just decided to pull the trigger,I decided to get a tract scope,i have heard nothing but positive stuff and the owner called me back, overkill for my application but i can always pull it off and throw on a 308 if I decide to.Plus i got it 200 off as a demo
