223 A.I. Nosler RDF 70 gr + 8208 xbr load data

I'm looking for some information on loading Nosler's 70 gr RDF bullets a in 1-7 twist 223 A.I. 27" barrel at 2.470" COAL.

I have lots of 8208 xbr. Anyone have a good loads using this powder?

The standard load across many of the heavies for the .223 and XBR is 23.x grs...most usually end up around 23.4grs, but it varies based on the chambers and rifles' components....

@padom has done a metric shit ton of load development with XBR and .223 in the AR platform. Might want to search some of those threads for details..

I could never get 8208 to shoot as well as AR Comp, so I switched, but best results were at 23.6 or so with 8208.

Wow, 24gr Varget pops primers in one of my Wylde chambered guns with 77smk.

I had a 20" 223 AI that shot 8208 XBR VERY slowly. Ended up shooting H4895 out of it pretty successfully.

That is a very well known load.
For an AI case I’d start at 23 and go up from there.
