R700 223AI barreled action.
Action is a Stainless takeoff from a Remington 5R
Bolt has been spiral fluted but the body left in the raw to add contrast.
Barrel is a Heavy Palma 22" Kreiger SS 5R 1-7 twist threaded for can 5/8x24 (the pictured ASR mount will be removed)
Weaver 20moa rail
All metal except the bolt body cerekoated black.
Firing pin has been bushed
Chamber work and coating done by Tom Ross, Piedmont OK
**to my knowledge the action has not been trued, there is extracted brass marks on the coating viewable in the image below**
My son was the shooter on this rifle and is now 10 and wants to step up to a larger caliber.
Will trade into an Impact 737 with a .473 bolt face.
