.224 Valkyrie - Accuracy Nodes

I am just starting to reload for my new .224 Valkyrie.
Specifics: MPA .224 Valkyrie with 26" barrel (1/6.5 twist) / Starline Brass (new) / Federal 205 / Varget / 1. ELD-M 80 grain / 2. ELD-M 88 grain.
I did some load development last week and was getting around 2600 + fps. No signs of pressure. Case volume 7/8 full. Max load was 25.5 grains. Shot groups (.28" to .75 inch). MV seems kinda slow.
My questions:
What MV should I be aiming for?
Is there a better powder for .224 V?
