I am still trying to lay this to rest and decide on a scope that is a BARGAIN for the limited ranges of the 22. Obviously 200yds is about the limit for a 22. That being said, I want to hold accuracy at those distances. My subsonic 22 has VERY little recoil so having the best shock protection probably is not needed.

I am pretty interested in illuminated optics but also realize my main problem is visibility of target at times, NOT my reticle. I prefer the tactical reticle with elevation and windage hashes rather that mil dot.

My brother just bought an Osprey and really likes the FOV and visibility. Not sure if this is from the larger 30mm bore or what but unless I HAVE to switch bore size, I would rather stick with 25mm bore to fit my laser and rings.

So in short, am not not only looking for line recommendations, but also lines to stay AWAY from. There seems to be A LOT of cheaper scopes out there. I am NOT looking for a cheap scope, I am looking for a great deal on a good scope. I am willing to bet there are some lines that are cheaper just because they don't have a big name.

OH, target scope specs are a 4-12x and about a 40mm. The big end OD cannot measure more than 45mm to clear my laser right now and rather not have to make custom rings for that.

I might settle for a mil dot if I have to but much prefer the tactical elevation type with the cross hairs with elevation hashes rather than just dots. IME, some dots are pretty big and obscure the target unless they are hollow dots.
