243 on a 550B, can I use a 308 base & 223 funnel?

For rifle, I reload mostly .223 and .308 but my g/f is wanting to get back into hunting and has her .243.

My question is, I have a .308 "conversion kit" and I am about to go get the .243 dies. Can I use the .308 conversion (base plate and brass tabs) and just use the .223 powder funnel for her .243? or does the .243 need its on powder funnel and / or base?

you'll need the 243 funnel, you can use the rest of the 308 conversion kit though

yeah, once I got thinking more, i figured a .223 funnel in a .308 die wouldnt work.

all of the funnels are the same outside diameter, the opening matches the bullet diameter so a 223 would be a no go and a 308 would have too big of a gap around it and powder would go everywhere
