243win loads for dpms gas gun?

I have a new dpms 243 upper on my lr308 lower. It is the heavy 20" 1-10 twist barrel. Looking for some good loads to run through it for coyotes, deer, hogs, etc. Are the reloads different for a bolt gun vs a gas gun? Thanks for the info.

I shot with member Joe_Stansbury this past weekend shooting his LR243. He was shooting the following:

-87grn Hornady BTHP's - that's all he had
-Winchester brass
-39grs of Varget
-FGMM primer.

I would have been quite happy with the groups he was shooting out of a bolt rifle, let alone a gas gun - they were 1 hole groups 3/4MOA or less. No signs of pressure and 3020fps average out of the 20" barrel.
He tried the 105 A-Max's - they wouldn't stabilize at all in the 1:10 barrel as he expected. We're heading out again this weekend with some 95SMK's in the hope that they work - if they don't, then he'll be settling on the 87 V-Max - it has a better BC than the BTHP.

I appreciate the info. I'll be getting me some projectiles picked up. I already have the varget for my 308s. Thanks again for the starting point.
