25-06 131 gr blackjack

Those are from the Black Jack FB. I have a similar graph for N160 compared to the FB RL26. Except a few good nodes around 2700, 2800, and 2900. No over pressure up to 3025 where I stopped. There is no way I'm going to push a 131 over 3000 in a 25-06. I'm pushing as it is at 2900-2950 with this overbore cartridge. The Ace has been out a couple of years and I don't see much on barrel life. At 500 my lands have been pushed out .013 jammed.
I had a custom reamer made for my 25-06. I am shooting the 131gr blackjack bullets with Retumbo powder. I am getting close to 3200 ft./s with no pressure signs. Very accurate load. 1/2 MOA out to 900 yards. 26” 7.5 twist rock creek barrel.

That’s how you are supposed to gain accuracy with heavies in a given caliber. I hear way to many newer reloaders saying just add more of the powder you are using. Slow that powder way down, work up and stay under max pressure.
