25 MOA rail for 700 SA

Thinking of adding a rail to my B14R for longer distance shooting. I have found 20, 30 and 40 MOA rails, but no 25. I have just 30 MOA left in my scope for "down" (with a 50 yd Zero) and don't want to use up all my adjustment with a 30, or leave an extra 10 MOA unused.

So....is there a 25 MOA rail to fit a 700 SA?

I went with Burris XTR adjustable bushing rings on my B14R.

Something does not sound right here. We just put a 40 moa Nightforce on a friend of mine. He is zeroed at 25 and shoots to 400 with his. He has a Tract scope that goes to 20 power. He still had one mill left over on the bottom.

He has a total of 65 moa travel and a 30 mm tube.

What scope do you have?

Scope is a Hawke Sidewinder 30SF, 6-24X56. Has total of 62 MOA adjustment. I'm only getting 58 1/2 MOA useable MOA for elevation total, probably due to where the internals are positioned with the windage where it is set. Scope is set very close to bbl. I think with higher rings/mount it could possibly give more adjustment.

I would shoot it first to zero it at 25 yards. Then see how much travel you have left in the scope from the bottom. You will be able to calculate how much more rail you can add.

This may not be clear but zero it first at 25 yards.

I have already done that. I have 30 minutes down from 25 yd zero. Difference from 50 yd to 25 yd zero is only 1 click.

I made a mistake on my original post (has now been corrected, was 5 MOA, now corrected to 10 MOA) as far as MOA remaining with a 20 MOA rail. I guess my best option at this point is the 20 MOA rail. 25 MOA rail would be better, but..... Using Burris rings to get the 25 MOA increases my scope height above bore by 5/8" (.625") and I don't really want to do that.

Might just leave as is due to not having any ranges close by to shoot past 100 yds. Was just thinking for future use.
