26” rule for a galil ace 13.5” barrel…help?

Hey guys, I’m incredibly confused….. I have the mentioned fire arm and want to put a vertical grip on it, it gets hot and would aid in shooting… I’ve read if the firearm is over 26” from the muzzle to the end of buffer tube it is ok to put a vfg, however it’s suppose to still have the brace regardless….. can I put a vfg on a galil ace (13.5”) ?…. Thanks in advance for the clarity….

It does answer the question. A pistol with a vfg is “any other weapon” that requires a stamp.
