im having a real hard time talking myself out of one of these.

i know single shot is not in fashion around here, but 260 sounds alot nicer than grendel... whos with me?

Using the AR15 lower receiver and fire control group with an alternate upper is nothing new and many have proven to give great accuracy. I shoot an ALS-50 (50BMG) on a AR15 single-shot lower and it is accurate enough to win Regional FCSA Matches.

But for something like the 260 Rem round, you should weigh the price of this conversion plus the lower you would want to use against an out of the box Savage or Remington rifle or a custom built by a good 'smith.

I built a custom 260 on a POF (308)platform, kreiger barrel, i know its a large frame gun, but shoots lights out.
