You Mean 142SMK's or 144 Lapua FMJ's?

Re: .260 / RL22

My shop has been out of H4350 for ever. I saw a recipe in one of the books, Lyman, I think, had the highest velocity and pretty standard pressure with RL22. The load data looked better than the H4350 but we'll see about accuracy.

I've also got some loads with 142MK's and IMR 4350. I'll post those in a couple of weeks when my rifle gets done.

Re: .260 / RL22

Yes, you will most likely get a little more velocity with R22, as you would with H4831. But speed isn't everything. I'm running a 140 VLD and H4350 with an extreme spread of 6 fps at 2820 fps. I was over 3 times this extreme spread with H4831. At 800+ yards, this makes a huge difference. I'll give up 20-40 fps for better ES numbers and better accuracy all 8 days of the week!
