Way overdue. Looks good to me as a fan of zombie flicks. I know that it is the third movie in the series, but 1st movie in a new trilogy.

Jeebus Fucking Christ…that music triggered some memories from SERE that I’d completely forgotten. And kind of wish had stayed buried.

They BETTER NOT fill this up with canned, erroneous, and misinformed Hollywood archery tropes that would make me and the rest of the trad bowmen on ArcheryTalk vomit...

The first two were INSANE and I absolutely enjoyed them, just like the first half of TWD before they friggin' put Stormtroopers, unnecessary plot lengtheners and other shit into it.

Danny Boyle is directing this movie. He directed 28 Days Later, so should be good.

No tension on that string at all. Would make sense from a film industry safety perspective as you have a lot of guys and gals whose only experience with archery is the crash course they took in the days leading up to being on set. Even a 5lb draw with a long stick being flung out accidentally will hurt someone or something. After Alec Baldwin, a lot of film and TV crews are becoming "once bitten twice shy" when it comes to functional weapons on set...
