So far I love my 2800.com and how fast it takes the range and provides a solution in the kestrel. The only issue I’m having is the elevation and wind reading that pop up in the 2800.com do not match what’s in the kestrel. Example: I range a target at 1500 yards, it populates the kestrel with 50 moa elevation and 10 moa of wind, but what pops up in the RF is 17 moa of elevation and 3 moa of wind. Has anyone else ran into this, or can maybe provide me with some insight on how to fix it?

It shouldn't be populating the kestral with anything other than distance and heading, the kestral then takes that data and calculates the hold based on what rifle you have currently loaded and selected in the kestral and pushes back that hold to the lrf.

Correct, but what the kestrel is sending back to the RF doesnt match the kestrel calculations.

Ah gotcha that is weird. Only other thing that comes to mind is the units. Sounds like it could be possibly giving you moa on the kestral display then you are getting mils on your lrf display. Double check both are mil mil or moa moa

@Diver160651 you seen this at all?

I'm considering buying the 2800.com but keep reading about issues between it and the Kestrel. Did you get you problem solved? Thank you

I have had a very early prod unit and have had 0 issues and know several others with one with 0 issues but understand your hesitation if they look like they are the norm.

Double checked, and they are both moa/english/US units

@Molon77Labe77 did you contact lieca for support?
