Another attack directed at the capital of Americana and the shooting sports culture.

The Tennessee legislative session starts next Tuesday on 01/14/2025 and several non-profit orgs, including the antigun group "Voices for a Safer Tennessee" are hoping to push their "concerns" to legislators to pass new antigun bills.

Contact your local and state reps, the GOA, FPC, etc. Spread this online far and wide.

I have absolutely no, ZERO interest in reaching any "common ground" with leftists and their invasive pest ideology, nor even spending any effort to listen to what they have to squawk out of their yappers. Leftist policies have done nothing but render populations of hardworking people disarmed in their jurisdictions, livelihoods and businesses ruined, homes and businesses burned, and economies circling the drain. There is only ONE message that needs to be sent to those who want to further desecrate home and hearth. And that is:

TRY THAT IN A SMALL TOWN - JASON ALDEAN

OHIO: GOV. DEWINE SIGNS PRO-GUN LAWS INTO EFFECT. Updates on Post no. 8.

Hickok45 has laid the final word for the NRA not too long ago. It is over for that grifting organization who is far more focused on keeping their lawns and gardens prim and upkept than being out there fighting on the front line for the constituents who paid their dues.

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF HOME AND HEARTH

Funny thing. Hours earlier before this post, me and my GF had been on an hours long Zoom video call with Hazizah in Oran, Algeria where she runs a tiny shop nestled under an apartment complex that was given to her to run upon her grandmother's passing in 2011. We are kind of like, far behind on some parts of tech, with people already doing Zoom stuff pre-2020 and just before New Years 2025 she urged me to set up Zoom so we could actually converse and see each other rather than just through email and text/phone. After I set it up and helped her through some issues on her end, my GF and her almost instantly became besties on our first call together. So during the window when Algeria's early evening intersects with our daytime on the East Coast, one screen is almost always on. Since her going back home in 2011, she hasn't seen her Lebanese friend Farida who still lives here and has always been very close to my family and was the one who helped bring us together in the first place in 2005. So today I had Farida come over and had her stand just outside of screen view while my GF and I were on the call with Hazizah, and when inevitably Farida was brought up, I just said "Farida, you say?" As I motioned for Farida in the doorway to come into the screen.

Within the next moment, all three of us were tearing up as we interacted through that screen, and Farida retold the story of how Hazizah would make dishes for me while the three of us worked at the little deli in Bensonhurst Brooklyn in the summer in 2005, and when I responded by making her favorite dishes for her, Hazizah broke down crying and we both sat with her comforting her in the supply room. "REMEMBER? You used to cry at everything and you still do!", Farida exclaimed to Hazizah over the screen.

Many people have slight variations over the meaning of "home and hearth", but overall it means the same thing. The fact that even over such long distances, we were able to still create this little circle of safety and warmth that we had before, and recreated now. Since the end of 2024, almost everybody on the construction sites and the shops, or rode with me as I drove freight around, noticed that Jason Aldean's Try That In A Small Town and Kyle Park's Don't Forget Where You Come From has occupied far more repeat plays on my infamously high decibel playlists which had always been straight outlaw blues, and yes they've asked. "Dang son, you gettin' soft huh?". And my response. "Home and hearth is what we are defending and reclaiming this year. The election is only the beginning. And the real work starts now."

Not another inch is to be given. Not another inch to be yielded.

DON'T FORGET WHERE YOU COME FROM - KYLE PARK

Governor DeWine signed a new package of laws into effect. Most are bipartisan, non-political bills concerning local traffic, housing, and industrial ordinances. But among them were SB-58 and SB-148 (merged in SB-58).

SB-58 prohibits the levying of liability insurances and fees for gun owners and the purchase or carrying of firearms.

SB-148 is the 2nd Amendment Financial Privacy Act that prohibits banks and other financial institutions from using merchant codes to identify firearm and ammunition purchases.
