An Oregon State judge has ruled that Oregon's Measure 114 is unconstitutional and granted plantiffs permanent injunction.
Measure 114 would require those seeking to purchase a firearm to obtain a permit from local authorities, undergo safety training, criminal background check, and require photo ID and fingerprints. The law also would "prohibit manufacturing, importing, purchasing, selling, possessing, using, or transferring ammunition magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds and make violations a class A misdemeanor."
