Considering putting a brake on my lightweight 7mm-08 build. I plan to get my smith to finish the length to 20" which should give me approx 0.675" of thickness. I know that's not enough for 5/8-24 but what about 9/16-32 ? Insite does offer their brakes in that thread pitch. I think also a Gen 1 micro bastard is available in 9/16-32.
Otherwise if I went with a radial brake, I'm not sure who does that pitch. I think VAIS does 1/2-32.
