Anyone running them? Came across 30 at a buck a piece and bought them. LiFe batteries are 3.2v (max 3.6v) versus 3.7v for lithium ion (max 4.3v) batteries. Good part is the are much closer to the voltage of CR123, and have much more recharges than Li ion ( up to 2000). Bad part is lower power density. 450mah, versus 600 mah for Rechargeable cr123 and 1200 to 1600 for cr123. Figure in low drain applications like leds they would be ok, but not so much for high draw thermals. The actually fit into all my devices, unlike some Li ion ones. Best part is they do not burst into flames like lithium Ion batteries.

Yeah, I ran them in COTI's for a while. They come off the charger at the max of 3.6 volts for real. They are ok, but I found them to be "leaky" out of the vent holes and they seemed like a much lower quality rechargeable battery than the Orbtronics, Keeppower and the Fenix that I use in other devices that come off the charger at a max of 4.2 volts.

All in all, I do not think this particular battery is a reliable stellar winner for Tenergy. So you can use them, but sure don't leave them in a device very long and watch the leaking closely.

I've been using BlackCube for AA's and Klarus 16340 for CR123.

Both brands/types have been working exceptionally well in ALL of my gear -- SF lights, DTNVGs, PVS-14's, LWTS's, UTC's, CRATOS, SkeetIR's, Halo-LR, PVS-30/27, ANVIS, CoronaSkeets -- everything!

Do you know how many volts those Klarus 1630's come off the charger at .

Also, have you ever run a Pas 29 COTI with the rechargeable RCR 123 that come off the charger with initial voltage of 4.2.

Never run a COTI on anything other than Energizer Lithiums.

I’ll put a Fluke on the Klarus and see.
