Rifle Scopes 3.5-10x50 Vari X III ?'s

I have a 3.5-10x50 Vari X III with parallax adjustmant on the front ring. This ring will make approximately 2 turns lock to lock. I sent this to Leupold thinking it was / is broke. They sent it back just like they got it. I called and ask about it and was told all the 50mm make 2 turns. They might be right, but if so, why does it have a set of numbers on the ring?

I don't have another 50mm to check, so if somebody does have a 50mm, could they confirm this?
