It's an easy process to put two dimples on an AR barrel with one of the million jigs available. Does anyone have an easy solution to drilling three evenly spaced holes? There aren't any three-hole jigs that I'm aware of. Although I see that BRD makes an adjustable jig but it's pretty expensive. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I don't know why you want three dimples, but with my jig that have have you can just drill two dimples, then scoot the jig down to index off of an existing dimple that was just created. Again I have no idea why you would want to do this, but it's not difficult.

If the outside holes are spaced at .500. That would put the center hole you need to drill at .250, no? The jig I have doesn't have a hole at .250. Maybe I'm missing something...

Indexing head in a Bridgeport mill. Locate off the gas port index 180 degrees. Center drill as needed. Easy as pie. Even for a dumb shit like me.
