3-gun competitions

Hey guys,
I will be shooting in my first 3-gun comp this weekend and I was wondering if any of you guys who compete in these have any tips or recommendations?

Slow down and don't make any mistakes. Non-neutralized or fail to engage targets or procedural will kill you.

What these guys said. Be conservative, don't miss or shoot the good guys and you will do well.

Best advice you'll get.

Make sure you have realistic expectations and above all else, enjoy yourself. 3-gun is a fun sport.

have fun and be safe. shoot at your speed, not the grand masters speed. Dont watch "D" class shooters they are still learning also. Bring 25% more ammo than the match calls for.

Keep them all inside the berm (I think thats the same advice I got when I started shooting IPSC

).

Just shot my first one a few weeks ago and had a great time. Definitely bring more ammo than is needed. I was told to bring 50% more. You'll have fun.
