30-06 RCBS Competition Seating Dies on Progressive

I see that you can't use the RCBS competition dies on a progressive press, is it only because of the extended shell holders that are needed with shorter rounds? Since the 30-06 uses a standard shell holder would it be compatible with a Dillon 550?
