Rifle Scopes 30 moa base?

I’m having a 6.5 prc built and am trying to decide if I can go with the 30 moa integral base or I should stick with the 20. Im planning on a NF atacr f1 which has 35 mil of elevation and would like to zero at 100, anyway I can be 100% sure this setup would work? Thanks

35 Mils is 17 Mils up and 17 Mils down. A 20 MOA base is 5.8 Mils. A 30 MOA base is 8.6 Mils. So with the 20 MOA base you will have approx. 22.8 Mils of up elevation available (and 11.2 Mils down) . With the 30 MOA you will have 25.6 Mils of up available (and 8.4 Mils down, so nowhere near the bottom). Any thing below your zero stop is mostly wasted, so go with the 30 MOA with the NF ATACR F1.

Yes you can use a 30 MOA base with that scope.
Probably even a 45 MOA base.
