So i have reloaded plenty before. However for some reason, I am having a terrible time reloading 300 blackout. I have the RCBS black box die set, with the crimp for ar's. I also have the Hornady 300 black out set. It seems like when I am trying to reload this brass, if i use the crimp die, it goes down too far and squashes the case, if i use the hornady they appear okay, but arent crimped. What should i do? Any suggestion from any of you that reload this caliber? Thanks.

I understand you wanting to crimp the bullets, However it isn't necessary if you are running sufficient neck tension. 2 thou neck tension is more than enough. I would load a round, measure it. Then put pressure on the tip of the bullet on your loading bench and see if it is seated deeper in the case, just for piece of mind.
