I have several cans and a few .300 BLKS's, I shoot supers and subs interchangeably. The TBAC 9" can works very well, the SDN-6 is pretty good too actually, I have two of 'em (but the mount sucks ass). I also have an Omega 9K and a Mystic X which I don't use on rifles, but I've heard they both work well, I imagine the 9k suffers a bit being shorter. But I also have a TBAC 5" Ultra --it's not as quiet as the others, but I knew that getting it. It just passes the line for a suppressor (TBAC's older 5" cans were technically moderators, which is what a can is when dB's are over the threshold). They shine when you wanna keep it short and don't wanna blow your ears out indoors but works best for subs --I use this on my PDW or HD rifle or whatever the fuck you call it. Keeps my 8.2" rifle to 24" or so. Save your mini for this or for moderating a full 7.62 rifle. I also have a newer full size KAC QD can but I think I'm picking it up today along with the 6.5 Ultra 9... Won't be using it on .300BLK but I hear it works quite well, that the can is about on par with the 300SPS, which was a contender for the SR-25 I have. I was told the 300SPS is the quietest can Surefire makes and it's not bad all around, period, and is designed for the .300 winmag so it should hold up nicely.
Out of all my cans, nothing, NOTHING comes close to my .22 cans... I use Liberty for those, their Essence was the best/lightest can made (only one was lighter but it was a lot louder too) and their new Regulator is HOT SHIT; don't have my Pinnacle put together yet. 1 ounce heavier than the Essence (big deal) but uses a SS core and no tools for takedown and cleaning. Almost no FRP and suppression is beyond what many integrals are capable of. With 1cc water, the only sound is the action on my PPK/S. I'll be getting this Essence recored for sure. Bottom line though, I don't have ANY cans that come close to this and I have many but not most of the high end cans in one caliber or another --still a good representation of what's out there over the last few years.
The Saker is the best all around can I've seen or used, particularly for a military type QD can. The mount, the design, the materials, the size --all are phenomenal. It's a bit heavy maybe, but it's damn near indestructible and the fact it uses most mounts (with the appropriate adapter, which is interchangeable) and has multiple end caps for different uses, it just puts it over the top. Blows the SDN-6 out of the water, wish all my AAC stuff were Sakers.
Sure I'm leaving something out... Elite Iron is another awesome mfg. the alphabet soup people use and most civvies aren't aware of, but I don't have experience with their smaller cans, only the .50BMG and .338LM, but I've heard their smaller cans are great too. In a nutshell, I'd recommend TBAC for weight (you won't shoot it out, even with supers, unless you dump multiple mags regularly or fire several mags full auto) and I'd recommend the Saker for an all around QD .mil type can.
