I'm new to reloading and was hoping a forum member might be able to offer some help. I want to find a a cheap option for plinking with my 300 blackout. I found these cheap 115 grain bullets at xtremebullets.com, but they are "copper plated" rather than "jacketed" bullets, and the manufacture recommends they do not exceed 1500 fps. My questions are:
(1) Is there any reason I should not use copper plated bullets? (I'm not too concerned about accuracy for plinking, but I don't want the rounds to do anything to my barrel.)
(2) Does anybody have a load recipe to keep 115 grain bullets under 1500 fps?
I'm running an 8.2" barrel.
Thanks
