300 BLK Out @ 300 yards

I was out shooting the other day, and a nice gentleman at the range was sighting in some rifles, I offered to let him hit my target, as long as they were not penetrators. He said thanks and we talked, had a good time and shot. He said oops I missed low I think a few times and I said don't worry about it, the wood I have replacements for. I am glad he missed and hit it a few times, it destroyed the wood, which impressed me.

I believe he was shooting out of a 14.5" barrel as well. Here are some pics, yes the wood was getting hit some, but the wood was still formed and holding the target quite well. After a few hits with the 300 blk it just went all splintery and had shoots all over it. Some of you might find this helpful. He didn't have any subsonic ammo with him, nor his suppressor.
