I would rather have a 1/10 then a 1/8. Unless your ONLY shooting the 250s and nothing else. 1/9 seems to be the happy medium for guys that may shoot in cold conditions at low altitude. Ask Dave Tooley as he has been shooting them for years and years with mainly 10 twist if I remember correctly. I have a 9 and have shot out to 2640 yards with it.. not really the tool for the job at that distance, but it works. My next barrel will be another 9. Now that I have a 375CT, I will keep the PRC for the 2000 and closer rifle. At a mile +/- the PRC is a hammer. The 9 twist just works.
