For Sale: 300 Win Mag Rem 700 5R Receiver, McGowan Barrel, MDT LSS Chassis, Folding Stock FDE
I am getting out of 30 cal, both the DMR and the bolt gun.
I bought the Rem 700 5R new and then had McGowan make a custom 5R backcut Remage barrel. Mounted in MDT lightweight LSS chassis and folding stock so it wouldn't be so damn long in transport, replaced picatinny with rings. With the OEM barrel it was okay, but with the McGowan I am very sub MOA all day out to 800 yds (as far as my range goes).
Comes with many accessories, some of which are new because I was in-transition or because I bought multiple options before choosing one. I had the Hawkins and Little Bastard but never used as I only shoot suppressed and already had the Dead Nutz. My next rifle is not long action so can't use them.

This rifle's absolutely favorite ammo is Federal Ascent 200gr, just wow! Followed closely by Choice Ammo custom hand-load ELD-X 200gr. Interestingly the Federal PSP 180gr is very accurate out to 400 yds but begins to wander by 600. I'm selling all my ammo and reload dies, bullets, nickel brass, etc. separately.
Price $2,000, must ship to an FFL. Payment methods accepted check, money order, cashier's check, some digital payments.
I will likely separate the action from the chassis to ship.
