.300 WM magazine length upgrade to CIP length possible?

I have a .300 WM with a defiance deviant. It has a standard mag bolt face long action bottom metal/magazine setup right now. Does anybody know if it's possible to open up the stock and use CIP length mags in new bottom metal with that action? Bottom of the action need to be opened up at all?

Edit: called Defiance. It's possible.

Next question, who makes the best bottom metal for a CIP length .300wm magazine?
