was wondering if anyone has come up with a detachable mag system for the WSM caliber rifles? cant seem to find anyting online yet...

Seekins!!!!!! I just got mine, the mag has a internal OAL of 3.175"!
The rear side of the feed port needs to be machined and the feed ramp needs to be notched so you can load the longer rounds. APA did the mods to my Surgeon action and it feeds 3.160" OAL 7WSM rounds with no problems.

Pardon my newbie post, but are those available for regular, bone stock Remington 700's? I'd like to start working on mine, which is chambered in .300 WSM. I've got no experience working on rifles, aside from "breaking down" and refinishing several Garand stocks while at 8th & I, lol...

Yes it will work with your 700 as long as you do the machining to the feed port and feed ramp. See my previous post.

What am i looking at cost wise on the machining?
