G'Day All,

I am new to reloading, and I'm after some advice for reloading for my .300 WSM Rifle. (1:10 twist barrel)

I will mainly be interested in long range target shooting and hunting, with feral pigs being the largest game likely to be hunted. I would be looking to use the same bullets for both purposes, so i would be looking at a VLD BT hunting round... I'm currently considering the Barnes Tipped TSX.

Would the 150gr or 168gr be a more accurate, flatter shooting round?

Any advice would be appreciated

Cheers

Re: .300 WSM Reloading

I found H4831sc to show the best accuracy with 190 Berger VLD's and H4350 showed a little more velocity with more than enough accuracy for targets and hunting.

More accuracy not necessarily, flatter shooting yes but if you are dialing in your adjustments it won’t matter...
