Hey all,

I've searched and haven't found satisfying answers yet. If I upgraded from a factory HS stock to an AI chassis. Which AI chassis should I get? Meaning 300wm chassis, 338lm chassis, or 338lm CIP chassis? I am thinking long term here. I would like the option of being able to stretch rounds out(extended mag length).

If I went with the 338lm CIP, would I have any problems feeding stretched out or non stretched out 300wm? Is there any negatives associated with the CIP? Or would the 338lm(non CIP) be more suitable?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Your going to have to mod the feed ramp area to run a CIP length mag. CIP mag is around .125" longer than a standard mag. You will be better off getting a custom action if you really want to run CIP. Accurate mag makes a CIP 300WM mag
