.300WM from AICS magazines?

Re: .300WM from AICS magazines?

They use to make 10 rounders as well. There are some out there. Just be prepared to pay 250+ if you can find one. I did hear some rumors of the 10 rounders being made again.

I just scored a 10 rounder here for 175(most I've ever payed for a mag)

LW, there are two versions of the LA aics mags... one is lapua and one is specifically for 300 win mag. The win mag version is also the one that people often tweak to run .30-06, 6.5-284, 6.5x55 sweede, etc. I believe the lapua version can be tweaked to feed the 7mm and .300 RUM cartridges.

Just make sure you order the right one for whatever you are gonna be shooting. Accurate mag makes cheaper alternatives that are pretty good now that they are coated inside. JBW also said he may look into other versions of those new MORTA mags so he may have some on the market eventually.

There are 10rd win mag AICS out there, but they are no longer made and so as someone said, they command a small fortune.

If you want to run something non-standard for the mags, get the feed lip tool from brownells as it makes adjusting much easier than needle nose and smacking them on the work bench, lol.
