-What is the best Varmint barrel length for longer range hunting?
-At what point does the length of the barrel become less rigid? I want it long enough to shoot 1000 accurately but short enough to make it rigid and easy to carry.
I was thinking about getting it cut at 24". I want to hand load the bullets but might need to buy factory at times. I will be shooting a 208 grain A-Max. I am not sure what the COAL will be. This will be on a savage/stevens 10 Shilen barrel.
