I may not be the best person to judge where you stand but your question is one Ive pondered......
300 Yards. 4 loadings.
Target 1 - 5 rounds from the magazine 42.6 grains IMR 4064, 168 Nosler CC.
The above target was a warm up using a round I am testing for my LMT AR. It was not one I expected to shoot well in this rifle. After this group I made a scope adjustment 1/4 MOA and .5 MOA RIGHT - Yes calling me a retard is slander to retards.
The next targets were fired round robin - 1 round each target of each loading.
41.8 grains IMR 4064. Upon seeing shot 1 far right I adjusted left 1MOA. 9 rounds.
43 grains IMR 4064. I expected this to be my best load. God I hate load developement. 10 rounds
44.2 grains IMR 4064 9 rounds.
The measuring device sucks but you get an idea. Not getting the results I expected. I like what 41.8 was doing and it only started to drop toward the end of my firing when fatigue and rifle conditions changed. Had I not done my 2R windage change the first five shots would have made a very nice group, 6,7,8,9 are all dropping from the knot.
Anyway I hope this helps. No matter how good you become I hope I have shown you that stupid kills skill.
