.308 AR Barrel Contours

The rifle I am building is a MEGA MA-TEN upper and lower and will be used for range time, a few matches, and hunting. I think I want a 20" barrel but not sure which contour. The M110 barrel seems to be ideal but not sure how heavy it will be. I like that its .875" at the gas block, more like a varmint barrel on a bolt gun.
Another barrel I was looking at is the Lilja 20" which is .750" at the gas block and muzzle. The weight seems much better but is that thick enough for extended shooting sessions?

What is your preferred barrel countour for a .308 AR and why?

I like a heavy barreled mid length gas sys with a .750 adjustable block.

My preference is for a barrel that weighs 3lbs or less regardless of length.

If you've got the money to buy a custom barrel talk to the maker, tell them what you want to do with it and your target weight for the rifle you are building and they will know better than we will.
